Todd Wolfe

Principal Physiotherapist & Owner

I’m the proud founder and owner of Bounceback Physiotherapy. I established the business back in 2000,following growing up in New Plymouth and playing for the mighty Taranaki rugby team. Over the past decade, Bounceback Physio has expanded to now offer the services of over 10 exceptional physiotherapists and working from two locations within New Plymouth and Bell Block areas. I am proud of the quality reputation we have built and all the thousands of people whose lives we have been able to improve.

I have 20+ years experience working in private practice physiotherapy, and possess a Post-Graduate Diploma in Manipulative Physiotherapy, and in Sports Medicine, to go with my Physiotherapy qualification I gained at the Otago School of Physiotherapy.

My particular area of expertise is in the treatment of neck & back pain, post-operative knee and shoulder rehabilitation.” I’ve worked with a number of local and national sports teams, including Rugby, cricket, Basket Ball, Triathlon, and High Performance New Zealand.

Born and bred in Taranaki, I returned to work in New Plymouth in June 2009 after doing my OE. I have over 10 years experience working in private practice since graduating from Auckland University of Technology, in New Zealand and abroad. I enjoy working with a variety of patients and injuries that private practice gives me, as well as working with post-operative orthopaedic patients. Physiotherapy is my passion and I enjoy the challenge of building a strong rapport with my patients, and help restore function, whether it is returning to the sports field, gardening or just being active. My other interest outside of work include sport, travelling and working on my house renovations

Schooled at Francis Douglas Memorial College in New Plymouth I have returned to the region this year after graduating from Auckland University of Technology in 2015. I am enjoying the variety working in private practice has thrown me since I have started, and am learning every day which I love. In particular I have an interest in working with athletes and sports teams, a result of playing rugby, cricket and being involved in Surf Life Saving in Taranaki. I believe there is no better feeling than helping someone to return to or retain the level of activity and lifestyle they desire, hence my passion for Physiotherapy.
